How do you differentiate yourself and make your mark when you are the newcomer in the social media management landscape?
Newly developed social media management company BuzzWinx was in the need to completely define their brand. They were in need of everything… identity, true line, definitions, marketing materials - you name it.
This created some unique challenges when defining the brand voice. Time was spent evaluating the competitive landscape to see how to best position the company for success and long term growth. It was determined that many of the established companies came across as either less than professional - and rather sloppy, or overly ‘corporate’ - full of marketing speak and inaccessible.
The decision was made to bridge the gap… create a brand that was polished, but friendly.
It was decided to create a mark that evoked an approachable nature, with the inclusion of chat bubbles that reinforced the concept of interaction. This combined with a smile and a wink from a friendly avatar set the stage for an upbeat feel good brand.
To reinforce this further, the colors for the brand were vibrant and exciting. Yellow and Pink stood out against the competition… and practically jumped off the paper when placed in ads and on marketing materials.
The approach had lasting effects and the brand became instantly recognizable in it’s market.
